Marcellus Nixon

As Executive Director of the Southside Network Authority (SNA), Marcellus Nixon, presides over the implementation and operation of the SNA 119-mile fiber optic infrastructure traversing Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk and Portsmouth. A seasoned telecom/internet professional with 25+ years of experience, Marcellus has led planning, engineering and operations teams at some of the world’s largest internet infrastructures. As a part of his duties, he is a technology wingman, when needed, to Hampton Roads region economic development directors.
