Chris Stone

Chris Stone, PE, F.NSPE, F.ASCE, LEED AP is a retired Professional Engineer and former CEO of Clark Nexsen, Architecture & Engineering. With over 45 years of experience in planning and infrastructure design, he has been a lifelong advocate for resilient, sustainable communities. A former National President of the National Society of Professional Engineers and Fellow of both NSPE and ASCE, Chris served on Virginia’s Joint Subcommittee on Coastal Flooding and the ASCE Industry Leaders Council, advancing efforts to include climate impacts into policy, design codes and standards. His work connects engineering, policy, and leadership to help cities adapt and thrive.
